My Favorite Spanish Eats

Wine from Market in Madrid

Wine from Market in Madrid

A week ago, I was lucky enough to be in Spain with my mom and cousin (aka my best friend) for a week. We visited┬áBarcelona and Madrid and I absolutely loved both cities. Beyond the amazing architecture (here’s lookin’ at you, Gaudi), beautiful exhibits and rich history, I loved exploring the food scene. Here are a few snapshots of some of my favorite food from the trip.

My Signature Drink & Birthday Party

Amazing Bar Outside

Amazing Bar Outside

Today is my birthday and I could not be more excited to celebrate with my family and friends! Last weekend, my mom threw me a wonderful party at our home with my friends. She made it it a culinary masterpiece with several small courses and drinks to go along with each course. She also created a signature drink for me called the “Nana Kwinki,” which will be the featured recipe in the post today. It’s called the Nana Kwinki because when I was a toddler I couldn’t pronounce my name and called myself Nana Kwinki (my name’s a tough one!). Here are a few snapshots from the party and the recipe for the Nana Kwinki!
